With her signature songs woven in and out, we learn both the story of her many successes on film, radio, and TV - as well as the struggles in her personal life: a career fading during the advent of rock-and-roll, her battles with addiction and depression, and a failing marriage. Audiences will stand and cheer as they rejoice at her triumphant comeback and even more successful career as a jazz snger.
Tenderly has played across the United States since its debut in 2015, and had its UK premiere in October of 2017 at the New Wimbledon Theatre in London (Off West End) playing to great critical acclaim.

PRODUCTION HISTORY
TENDERLY was first featured featured in 2010 at the Human Race Theatre New Works Festival in Dayton, Ohio.
The stage premiere took place at the historic Victoria Theatre in Dayton, Ohio where it played in their 2012 Broadway Series to over 15,000 people.
The TONY AWARD winning Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park featured TENDERLY in November 2014 through January 2015 - where it broke all Playhouse box office records and was extended two times.
